Habident is a timeline platform for recording, understanding, and sharing the things worth following over time. It turns scattered moments into growing timelines you can revisit and keep following. We started building it in New York City in 2025 as a personal project for noticing and remembering the small changes that add up over time. Today, we’re a small independent team building Habident for the long term.

What can you track with Habident?
You can use Habident to document pets, plants, aquariums, rooms and other spaces, collections, creative work, personal projects, and many other things that grow, develop, move, age, or change over time.
How is Habident different from a journal?
A journal usually organizes entries by the day they were written. Habident organizes records around the specific thing you are following. That subject keeps its own visual timeline, making it easier to revisit its full history, jump to a particular month or year, and compare moments over time.
Who is Habident for?
Habident is for people who enjoy observing change and want a lasting record of the things they care about. It can be useful to pet keepers, plant and aquarium enthusiasts, collectors, makers, designers, homeowners, and anyone following a long-term personal project.
Where is Habident available?
Habident is currently available on iPhone through a limited iOS beta. Android and broader cross-platform availability are planned for the future.
How does Habident store your data?
Habident is currently designed as a local-first app. Timelines, posts, drafts, bookmarks, media, and most personal content are stored on your device by default.
